Spline interpolation

With this site you can plot graphs of up to ten courses in one graph. The entered values are interpolated using cubic spline functions. For interpolation, you can select a "point weight". If the weight is set to a large value (e.g., 1000), this is genuine interpolation, and the curve passes through all points at the cost that it may "oscillate" somewhere. The lower (but positive) value you set, the smoother the curve will be, but at the cost of not passing through all points. For each course, you can choose the type, color, point size and legend, and you can also set the graph title, axis description, axis range and grid. The output is a graph in black and white or color PostScript or PDF that you can download directly or send by e-mail.

You can also use mathematical symbols and letters in graphs of the Greek alphabet. For example, you can type UPN as U_{PN}, x2 as x^2. Ypu can find detailed information HERE (PDF file).
