Universal tool for plotting graphs

You can use the scripts implemented on this site to calculate least squares approximation and plot graphs with up to ten courses in one graph. For the approximation, polynomials up to the 5th degree including exponential can be used, the program prints the values of regression parameters with the estimate of their standard deviations. Calculations are performed employing the algorithms described in this text (in Czech language).
For each course in the graph, it is possible to select the type, color, size of marks and legend, it is also possible to set the title of the graph, the description of the axes, their range and grid. The output of this tool is a graph in black and white or color PostScript and PDF format, which you can download directly or send by e-mail.
You can also use mathematical symbols and letters of Greek alphabet in graphs. E.g., UPN can be written as U_{PN}, x2 as x^2. You can find further information HERE (PDF file).
If the course is complex and difficult to approximate by exponential or polynomial, try to use splines to create the graph.
